Stylish, comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed our stay. Calumet was a cool town and we were glad we chose to stay there for exploring the peninsula. Had an excellent dinner at Fitzgerald’s, reserve in advance.

This was a great place to stay for one night on our way to Isle Royale! Very comfortable and loved the decor! But the thing that really stood out to me was how immaculately clean the entire place was! Superb place!!

The natural light was amazing! Super cute CLEAN place! 20 minutes to Fitzgerald’s restaurant and 40 minutes from Copper Harbor.

We loved this place. It was peaceful, comfortable, and extremely clean.

The apartment is in decent location for Michigan tech visit and provided the basics for the price. The bed was quite uncomfortable but the bathroom and kitchen nicely updated.

Though the neighborhood was a bit run-down, the airb&b was like stepping into another world - a cozy, clean, updated world! It was very comfortable, the kitchen was beautiful with fancy appliances, the bathroom was lovely, and the bedroom was cozy. The blackout curtains in the bedroom were extremely helpful, too. I loved my stay there.

Beautiful and updated 1 bedroom apartment. Fit our needs. Nice king size bed with a good mattress. Bathroom was awesome with a tiled, rain head shower. Close to the cross country ski trails. Upgraded soaps.

We have stayed at Alexa’s place three times and will definitely stay again if we can.

The apartment was quaint with a minimalist interior that had everything we needed. We were only 30 minutes from Mt. Bohemia and centrally located near several other outdoor activities.
Additionally, we were there during a snow storm that brought 50mph winds and 20 inches of snow. We stayed warm, never lost power, and our car was plowed out of the driveway by 9a.m. the next morning. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We stayed at Alexa’s place for a weekend of skiing at Mt. Bohemia. Great space with lots of room!! The whole apartment was incredibly nice and clean. We would definitely recommend!

A great little place in a good location between Mt. Bohemia and Houghton. There are some very cool outdoor activities all within a half hour or so of it's location. It's quiet and clean and feels right at home! I would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay! The location was close enough to everything we needed, making it a perfect base for hiking and exploring local trails on our UTV. The space was clean, well kept, and had all the essentials. The bed was comfortable, and check-in was smooth. Overall, it was a wonderful spot. We’d definitely stay here again!

King on Union was immaculate. Everything looked brand new. Alexa was very responsive. When I discovered that we had no internet or tv, I called her. She said the internet was out all over town and said she’d call the provider and get back to us which she did. The unit was about a half block from I41 - very convenient. The only negative was that the blower fan on the heating/cooling system was somewhat noisy.

The apartment was simply perfect. Clean and just beautiful. Wish we could have stayed an extra night!

Alexa’s place was perfect. It was recently updated and very tastefully decorated. Everything you could ask for after a long day hiking and exploring the Keweenau. We were nervous that being on the second floor neighbors above and below would be disruptive but you could hardly hear anything from the adjacent apartments. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the rain shower head.

Alexa's apartment was perfect for our quick weekend trip to the Keweenaw. After a long day on the road it was a wonderful space to walk into and relax. The fir floors were so charming and reminded us of our own 1905 home. Everything was incredibly clean and updated and so tastefully designed. This wasn't a space that just looked nice in the pictures, it was also very useable and comfortable; from the bed, to the sofa, to the bedside chair and reading nook we were both impressed by how functional everything was.

The apartment is just outside the town of Calumet, a quick 2 min drive into the town center which was convenient to be able to hit up the local coffee shop before getting on our way. We hope to be able to come back for a longer visit and wouldn't hesitate to book Alexa's place again!

Great stay! Clean!

The location was just off the main road which made it easy for us to get where we were going each day. There is not much walkable but we were not expecting that. The home was lovely and Alexa was wonderful with communication. Her bed was so comfy was asked her where she purchased it and she got back to me right away with the link. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

My partner and I were very happy with our stay in this cute, simple little apartment. The apartment was clean and tidy when we arrived. We greatly appreciated that the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals during our stay. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Roku on the tv made it easy for us to veg out on our fave shows after the adventuring. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. Alexa was great at being clear with the instructions for check-in, and I encountered no issues during my stay.

The home was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for after bumming around Copper Harbor for the day. Thanks for your hospitality!

It was super cute and really clean, also looked exactly like the pictures. we went on all of the adventures we wanted to and didn’t have to drive more than 10 minutes which was a bonus. Our host was very friendly and extremely easy to message. I will definitely be back in the future!

Stayed at Alexa's place during a trip to the Keweenaw. Great location for easy access to nearby beaches and Copper Harbor was a straight shot about 45 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again. This was the cleanest airbnb I've ever stayed in and everything looks brand new. Can't beat the price for what you're getting.

Honestly the best value in the area. It was as described, modern, clean, 1 block from the highway that you will use to get anywhere in the peninsula, you couldn’t hear the road at all though. It had everything we needed. Decent enough neighborhood. Alexa also allowed us to extend our stay 2 more days the night before we were originally checking out, we didn’t really want to leave. We would recommend and will stay again if it’s available!

This was a great place. I’m really happy we found it and that it was available. It made a great home base for our visit to Michigan. My favorite little bit about it was the sunny reading nook off of the living room.

The location is good when you want to sightsee all over the peninsula. Just 20 minutes from Hancock and an hour to Copper Harbor.
The apartment is very clean, bright & freshly decorated.
You will get some road noise (the fan takes care of it) & may hear steps in the apartment above.
It is 2nd floor, so after you go up the maybe 6 steps to the porch, there is a long flight up, so keep that in mind.
No outdoor area to enjoy.
It did work quite well for us & saved money over other Airbnb’s we looked at.
Kitchen has salt & pepper—anything else you need to cook with, bring it or buy it.
AC unit in the BR, a listed fan was missing but the manager brought us a brand new one when we mentioned it. It was quite warm check in day, so the fan was terrific!

It was a beautiful living space, and a great location. Quiet, comfortable, and a nice size for two people. We used the kitchen for cooking and found it was stocked with most things we would need. Location was nice, right off the main highway and the neighborhood was quiet.

Our only complaint was the AC unit was not adequate for a summer stay. It was very warm on the second floor and even with the additional window ac unit in the bedroom, it was toasty! For the price, I was surprised. I would not stay here again in July or August. It’s just too hot and humid to not have proper AC. At a different time of year, this would be a very comfortable property to stay at 🙂

Great spot to stay in the Keweenaw! We loved how close it was to historic downtown Calumet. The apartment was clean, comfy, and very functional. Alexa made checking in & out super easy as well. Would recommend!

Very clean, comfortable, and convenient location! This is on the 2nd floor and there is another floor above you, so our only complaint was hearing the tenants above every time they walked. Other than this small nuisance, would definitely consider staying again and recommend to others!

This was our second time staying at Alexa’s Airbnb and as always it was perfect for my husband and I! Super easy check in, very neat and clutter free place, comfortable bed, kitchen is well set up and has basically everything you’d need to make your own meals there too. Which we love that on unexpected travel! (obviously just bring your own food/spices) ? Also the place is always clean and fresh!

This was my second time staying, and look forward to staying a third time in the future. Place is conveniently located between Mount Bohemia and Ripley, giving you great skiing options. Close proximity to the grocery store and restaurants makes it a great option for a full ski vacation.
