Very comfortable and modern apartment

I appreciated that in the description of the home that Alexa said it was a triplex and an older home. Saying that we might hear other guests footsteps and such.
We did not hear the other guests. But were aware it could happen and we were as quiet as possible as not to disturb others.

This is the PERFECT place for couples or parents visiting their MTU student. Quick, easy 10 minute drive to campus. The apartment itself is located on the top floor (what I’m assuming is actually the attic) of an old home. It’s super updated and spotless. The bathroom is so nice!!

Just a heads up- there’s 2 flights of stairs to get up there. My husband and I had no trouble with the stairs but I could definitely see that being an issue for some.

The stay was reasonably priced, and well furnished. The location is within driving distance to Houghton, and relatively close to Copper Harbor. It’s a good home base for exploring the rest of the Keeweenaw Peninsula or more accurately the Keeweenaw Island as the residents of Copper Harbor told me.
For a single traveler, the size of the stay on the third floor was comfortable. The place is also furnished with dining utensils, plates, bowls, a microwave and an actual oven, plus a refrigerator. I didn’t use it, but the host provided a small jar of coffee beans and a grinder in case you wanted some fresh coffee. Considering the relatively high price of coffee in the area, compared to where I’m from, I thought that was really thoughtful. As the first Airbnb I’ve booked, this was pretty nice.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was reasonably priced and the apartment is well decorated, immaculately clean, and the bed was so comfortable! Alexa was so kind and provided great communication. We were centrally located near all the things we wanted to do. If you are ok with stairs, this is a great option!

Exactly as described. I’m in the location for work and needed a place to stay for a few nights and I had a wonderful time. Clean, modern/cozy, and peaceful. Would highly recommend!

Nice freshly refurbished suite. Very clean. Stairs a little tough for bad hips and bad knees but we got through it. would stay again on lower floor.

Booked at the last minute literally…within a couple hours or less of arrival time. The place was ready when we arrived but we had to wait for the code to our unit for a few minutes (3 units in 1 house). It was relatively hot when we stayed, we opened the windows first for cool night air…found out too late one window in the living area didn’t have a screen…but the bugs found out first! Minor inconvenience. The air conditioner was fine once we figured out the furnace was just used to circulate air. Bed was super comfy as was the couch…loved that you provided light throws! Bathroom was great, loved the shower, sink drained a bit slow, plenty towels. Kitchen as described, coffee Keurig yay! Some creamer/sugar would have been a nice touch, as well as salt & pepper. A note at the bottom of the steps and mat for shoes would be appreciated since the request was no shoes be worn in the unit. Overall a great little place, good price, we would stay again should the need arise! Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! The location was perfect for our trip, providing a convenient home base that made it easy to explore all the beautiful sights the area has to offer.

Although our apartment was on the third floor with slanting ceilings we did not feel cramped. Every space is very well designed and functional for two adults.

Alexa’s place was great. It was a perfect size for two people. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable. We never heard the tenants in the lower to units. Check in/out was easy and secure. The location of this place was great and very accessible to the highway and town. We’re already talking about staying here again next year!!

Alexa's Apartment is fairly new renovated and very clean. The equipment is very practical. Alexa is very helpful and responsive. The highway is less than 300 ft away and quite busy. During our stay, the outside temperature was in the mid 90s. To sleep with open windows is quite noisy. However, the air conditioning is very appropriate.

Bit of stairs as its on 3rd level, All was good. Bed was uncomfortable for us, too firm as were the pillows. Over all really nice place.

The only downside was the neighborhood. Loud running truck across the street til early morning.

The cleaning fee of $50 for this small space for one night was not appropriate.

Loved our stay! The place is immaculately clean and very well decorated. Incredible bathroom as well. The only note is to make sure you have signal before check in so you can get the code!
