Beautiful stay, pictures as shown. Road noise is quite loud, if you sleep with the windows open. Great kitchen, with much of what you would need or want.
I appreciate the dining room table and 2 full bathrooms. If the main bedroom was equipped with a Kind bed, this place would be our #1 pick to stay while visiting the Keweenaw!

We really enjoyed staying at Miner's Rest. It was very clean and comfortable and centrally located to both local amenities as well as activities throughout the peninsula.

This house was just what I was looking for. It was clean and very comfortable. Close to Houghton and easy to get around. Alexa was a good host and gave lots of local recommendations which was helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking in this area.

Great family stay in the Keweenaw. We visited our MTU student and nearby beaches, waterfalls, and local restaurants for our long weekend getaway. The house was perfect for our family, comfy and accommodating. Great stay!

Enjoyed our stay, place is as described and shown in pictures. Wing special at Millers bowling alley on Sunday were fire (awesome). Also, a short 2 mile drive is recommended to see Douglas Houghton Falls 110 foot waterfall a short 1/2 mile trail worth the visit. Pats Foods was a nice grocery store offering broaster chicken, pasties, and a self serve salad bar. Several other places to eat within walking distance.

The house was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. Everything seemed updated and new. Conveniently closed to everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great! The house was very clean and well-kept, the bed was super comfortable, and the driveway was plowed every morning before we even woke up — a huge plus. Check-out was especially appreciated: simple and stress-free with no endless housekeeping tasks like you get at some places. Nothing negative to say at all. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

Fantastic place to stay for our family ski vacation: Two-minute drive to the Swedetown Trails and a thirty-minute drive to Mt. Bohemia. Only a few minutes to downtown--highly recommend Keeweenaw Coffee. The place is clean with a fun, social kitchen and a dining table for eating or playing games.

We enjoyed our stay in Calumet at Alexa's house. It was a nice, clean and included basic amenities.

My adult children and I spent 3 nights here! It was a beautifully updated home. Beds were comfortable, living spaces inviting and kitchen had what we needed! Loved being able to walk to Toni’s Country Kitchen for their delicious cinnamon rolls and Pasties.
Alexa was very helpful when we realized our daughter had left her purse there. We were able to get it back in a timely manner.
I would highly recommend this place for your next UP trip!

I have stayed at Alexa’s place twice while visiting the Copper Country. Her house is clean, comfortable, quiet, and conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Calumet. Alexa is a very friendly and responsive host. I would definitely stay here again.

We came up to Calumet for a curling tournament and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! The house was cozy and perfect and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend and hopefully can book again when we visit the area again next year.

We stayed at the house to go snowmobiling for a few days. Everything was as advertised and the driveway worked well for a 5 place trailer and a F350 truck. House was clean and had everything we needed. Alexa was responsive with all our questions.

We had a great stay at Alexa's place. It is very convenient for visiting both Houghton and the Keeweenaw. Interior is very nice just like the photos. I would definitely consider staying here again during our next trip to the area.

Overall, my family, and I had a lovely stay at Alex‘s place. It looked like the description and photos, and it was in a quiet neighborhood that was just one block away from where my mother-in-law lives.

The only minor concern we had was regarding the windows. There was a window downstairs and a window upstairs without a curtain or shade. The uncovered upstairs window was directly in front of the bathroom door, so if somebody came out in a towel, they would be seen by the neighbors.

Great place to stay

Charming, squeaky-clean home near downtown Calumet with all needed amenities. Great spot to spend time with family (including our MTU student) and explore the peninsula during fall color season! The only MINOR drawback is the amount of road traffic just outside - it wasn’t an issue for us, but light sleepers may want to come prepared 🙂

Alexa’s house was perfect for our stay. The house had the the 3 Cs - convenient, clean and comfortable. This an older home that has been nicely remodeled. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend.
