The location was ideal as I have family just two streets over. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed.

The house is super cute, we liked the layout. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Lots of towels:)

Easy flexible check-in and no hassle check out. The place was extremely clean and exactly as described. Was furnished with everything you needed. A great space to spend some time relaxing after adventures and a super convenient location for exploring Copper Harbor and the Keweenaw but also being close to the amenities of town. Great location in the keenawaw region.. but the home itself is on a main road.. There were many comfortable beds, enough, linens and towels for our large group.. very responsive host.. flexible when we needed! Very fair price! Older house, very tastefully redone with all basic amenities. No laundry in home but laundry mat about 3 min from home.. definitely a great find!

We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the outdoor space. The indoor served us very well.

Alexa’s place was a short drive from the Calumet business district. Excellent place from which to explore the Copper Harbor area or go into Houghton/Hancock.

Nice place but just a bit noisy on the main road- however it did quiet down at night and with the help of fans providing white noise, it wasn’t too loud. Clean and comfortable and good location for going into downtown calumet (such a great little town!) and the rest of the peninsula.

Alexa’s place was very comfortable, convenient, and clean. It served as a perfect midway point between Houghton and other parts of the Keweenaw. There was plenty of space for the two adults and two children in our group with lots of room to spare, and I really liked how open the common area was on the main floor. This might seem small and insignificant to most, but as a coffee snob, I appreciated that there was whole bean coffee and a grinder. ? I would definitely stay here again.

This house was okay. The back stairs and railing could be replaced and there's tons of house noise between the heat and the wind.

The place was sufficient - there were very few amenities other than essentials. I have stayed in Hancock, Houghton and Calumet on other occasions and there were more amenities, less restrictions and rules and an overall better stay.

Beds were low quality, silverware not even enough for the allowed 8 people to eat meals for one day without running out, heating system was very hot and dry, lightbulbs in dining area fixture had 6 bulbs and 3 were burnt out. No light going upstairs.

Nice and clean, with open floor plan on main level. Good size bedrooms and comfortable beds. Bathrooms were nice and clean with plenty of towels. Our family would definitely stay again.

Happy we stayed here instead of in Houghton or at Mt. Bohemia. Easy to find and park and on the way to everything that we wanted to do. Plus lots of space to cook and chill.

Alexa’s house was wonderful. The location was perfect. We were snowboarding at Mount Bohemia and loved having an easy 30 min drive to the mountain while being within minutes of restaurants and a grocery and hardware store (which was needed for a boot repair job).

I have stayed in a handful of houses in the area and this was by far the most spacious and had plenty of comfortable seating for the 3 of us. Heat was great and I appreciated the fact I didn’t hear a single squeaky floor board.

Initially I was slightly concerned that there wasn’t a dryer for wet gear, but the house has plenty of space to hang and store gear and Alexa provided a fan that did the job perfectly!

Overall the house was great and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We will be back.

Very nice home about 30 minutes from Mount Bohemia. Our stay was comfortable and affordable. Highly recommended 🙂

Alexa’s place was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in and just right for us and our 3 teens in town to tour MTU and the area. The driveway was plowed daily, good local recommendations were given, and everything was just right for our needs.

Very roomy and easy to find. Close to downtown Calumet. The accommodations were perfect for my adult children while we were visiting our son/brother at Michigan Tech.

This is a great location to downtown Calumet, Swedetown and all of the Keweenaw. With 3 bedrooms it worked great for the four people in our group.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! Got in a little late and were relieved that the grill fired right up to grill steaks for our hungry group. Appreciated that house is fully furnished and comfortable, clean, and not cluttered with a lot of knickknacks. Really clean in every nook and cranny! Surprised how quiet it was all night, despite being on the main road - I honestly never noticed any noise. Great shower. Comfortable beds. Super kitchen. It really exceeded our expectations in every way! We will stay here again next time we head up here!

The home was in a perfect location for what we planned to do for our trip. Close to several beaches, waterfalls, Copper Harbor and Houghton. The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved how open the main floor is and the entrance is perfect for coming in and leaving all your stuff and not mess up rest of house with sand, mud, water etc. We did hear quite a bit of traffic since it is off the main highway there but it did not ruin our experience at all. We were out exploring most of the time.

Our family of 7 really enjoyed staying here and using it as our base for many activities in the Keweenaw! Fit our needs really well.

We had a great stay at Alexa’s home. Its very nice, had everything we needed and she was nothing but kind and helpful. It was a nice middle point to lots of things to do. We even caught local fireworks over the lake in the next town over. I would definitely recommend.
