This apartment was super spacious and really convenient. Great jumping off point for exploring the Keweenaw. Apartment had all the amenities we needed and it was super clean. King bed was a comfy memory foam mattress. We used the laundry in the other part of the building with no issues. There was also a patio out back but we weren't sure if that was communal for the building or only supposed to be used by one unit. The host a a super handy binder and map of their favorite spots that we took advantage of. It was useful when we were not sure what our next adventure would be, and they were great recommendations. The place was also quiet, but you could hear other tenants walking above you, I am a light sleeper so I could hear upstairs walking whenever someone was up there. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again!

This apartment, the first/ground floor of a house, is extremely well-renovated and modern - just like the photos! Everything was clean and organized, we really appreciated the large main living area (kitchen, dining area and living room) for hanging out and the nice shower. A bit too far to walk into downtown Calumet (you need to cross the highway), but a lovely neighborhood for walking around and within easy driving distance to wonderful hikes and historical sites. Would highly recommend!

This is the second time we have stayed at one of Alexa's properties. Just like before the home is spacious, pristine and has unique local accents that make it uniquely charming. Close to all that you want to explore in the Keweenaw. Looking forward to our next trip to the UP!

This place was great and served our needs (we were in town so my son could attend a Hockey Camp). It was clean and comfortable. My only “heads up” or suggestions for improvement are: it was myself and my two kids. With one bathroom and everyone showering for 6 days we could have used more towels. Also, there is ONLY one mirror in the entire unit and that really slowed us in the morning. Mirrors in the bedroom would allow for us to do contacts/hair/makeup without waiting for the bathroom. Also the microwave is too small for a standard microwave popcorn bag… no big deal except the popcorn kept burning… if popcorn is in your plans, purchase mini bags or stove top. Again we had a great experience but if you are going with kids you may encounter my few hiccups. It’s still 5 star!

The place was nice cute. I will say that if your going to do laundry do go by what the instructions say. Most def make sure you go to laundry mat OR coordinate with her during to the cleaning person not knowing not to touch other peoples laundry with out any communication my clothes where put on the book shelf WET. Which I don’t appreciate. Communication is huge with this vs believe what in instructed. I was told it would be handled. Which ok thankyou for any of the next guest hopefully but i was late due to the fact i had to completely rewash my cloths this AFTER HAVING TO WAIT FOR THE CLEANING LADY TO DO HER 2 loads. BEFORE I could even think about putting mine back in.

This was the perfect place for our nordic adventure. It is so close to the Swedetown trails and downtown area making it very easy to get around. My friend and I both worked remotely as well (between skis) and the space was great for that too.

A great place to stay for Winter Carnival 2026. Plenty of room for a family of 4-5. Super clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this place.

Centrally located to everything on the peninsula. 35 minute drive to Mount Bohemia. Big entryway for storing gear. Everything you would need is there and nothing you don’t.

Staying in the area for work this place and host are amazing worth every penny! Liked it so much i have rebooked for 2 more weeks.

Amazing place and host, was in the area for work this place was cheaper than my hotel for the week! Absolutely stunning home cleaner than most hospitals liked it so much returned for the next week! will definitely recommend and stay in the future if my work has me in the area.

Good location & price, but can hear neightbors walking

We had a great time chasing waterfalls up and down the peninsula! Your place was perfect! We really enjoyed staying there. We gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because the upstairs neighbor was moving around at 2:30 am and woke us up.

We appreciate the fact that there were some basics like spices and coffee filters. It is very frustrating to stay in a place without those items and have to buy salt and pepper or a pack of 100 coffee filters for 3 days!

Alexa gave us a very good recommendation to the restaurant, Glacia.

We booked the day before we needed the stay as our plans had changed and Alexa was very responsive and was ready with the late notice. Her space was clean and perfect for what our family needed.

This was a great crash pad! We were exploring the area and were away most of the time. We were only here for the nights essentially. It was super clean, smells and looks like its getting remodeled. Unfortunately, the walls are super thin and I could hear the upstairs neighbors simply having a conversation at 730 AM. It did get pretty warm in the house (even with the heat off) but nothing a cracked windows couldnt fix. Also, round of applause for the host to be mindful enough to put a fan in each bedroom!

Immaculately clean and clutter free yet had all of the necessities. Great location for those visiting MTU and we look forward to staying here or at another one of Alexa’s properties when we return. Easy access and check in/out process and very responsive to messages. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area and have already shared my pleasant experience with friends, family and coworkers.

A great place to stay. It was clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. The only downside was that you could hear the people in the apartment above, but it wasn’t too big of a deal for us.

Just an overnight stay, four adults. Beds were very comfortable, property very clean. Location worked out well for visiting Houghton/Hancock!

Safe & clean, which is really all I need from an airbnb.

However, both beds were soo uncomfortable. No washer and dryer in unit like listed described. One ply toilet paper.

Nice clean place

Alexa's place was spotless, and beautifully and simply decorated. It was a comfortable space. One bed was very soft and one was firmer. Communication was excellent when needed. We had all the amenities we needed. Our only con was the shower/tub had a slant in, I believe purposely, but we weren't fans.

Alexa is a great host. My wife and I really enjoyed our time in Calumet and the Keweenaw peninsula. The place was clean, cozy, and quiet; and had everything we needed to rest and recharge for the next day. We would love to come back or stay at any of Alexa’s other properties!

The apartment was just a short drive to any of our planned stops and was extremely clean and nicer than expected. the only downside was the bed was incredibly hard. everything else was great.

We had a good stay at Alexa's place. After an initial hiccup with the heating (which Alexa responded to promptly), everything worked smoothly.
We enjoyed the very comfortable bed and while we didn't use it, Alexa had a keurig coffee maker maker with pods as well as coffee beans/grinder for a traditional coffee maker.
We enjoyed the proximity to the ski trails.

This is a great place to stay to ski Swedetown. Recently remodeled and nicely appointed, comfortable and a great value.

The flat was very clean and comfortable. I liked the waterfall shower! Ample parking, and not too far away from downtown Calumet. Will see if it’s available next time I’m up in the Keweenaw!

Perfect place to stay in Calumet for 2 people. The apartment is very clean, a beautiful kitchen with new appliances. We would stay there again for sure.
